Two weeks ago today (wow, has it been two weeks already?) we abandoned our plans to drive to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, and toured the Hoover Dam instead. What a remarkable place this was! Can you imagine... ... In some of my photos , you can see the new bridge that's being built over the top of the canyon, so that traffic no longer has to sit in long lines to cross the top of the dam.
